Join us on at 10:00 am on Saturday May 7th for an educational medicinal and edible plant walk around Kashi in Sebastian Florida with Andy Firk. Kashi is an 80-acre permaculture project on the Saint Sebastian River that includes several ecosystems and an abundance of wild and wonderful plants to learn.
If you have never met Andy, you will be amazed by his knowledge and love of plants. He started the Bamboo Grove, in Arcadia, Florida which is home to over 200 heirloom fruits, 35 clumping bamboo species, medicinals, natives, a great collection of perennial vegetables and herbs, and more. Andy is an author, super plant geek and a wonderful human being.
We will be on the guided walk from 10am-12pm. There will also be a free tour of the Kashi temples at 3:00pm and a free tour of the permaculture project at 4:00pm.
There will be a vegetarian dinner available (buffet style) offered at 5:00 pm for $12 per plate.
We hope to see you in the garden!
